The SI-10BG is a popular Soviet-era Beta/Gamma GM tube. Its small size, relative good sensitivity, low cost, and sturdy glass and steel construction make it quite suitable for use in both portable and laboratory-based Geiger counters. It was designed to snap into ¼” fuse holder type clips and was a favorite for use in Soviet Geiger counters (see DP-63A).
